Emporio Sirenuse x Lingua Franca
Rachelle Hruska and her husband Sean MacPherson are old friends. I greatly admire both Rachelle’s Lingua Franca enterprise and Sean’s many hotels and restaurants. So, when Rachelle proposed to come to Montauk with some of my dresses for the Crow’s Nest new Lingua Franca boutique, I could not say no.
Lingua Franca is a line of sustainably-sourced, fair trade luxury cashmere sweaters, all hand-stitched by women in NYC. They’re committed to fair trade, ethical labor practices, and the highest environmental standards. They’re proud to pay their embroiderers, all local women in NYC, a living wage.
We created a small collection of 7 exclusive styles for Lingua Franca, using some leftover printed or woven cotton from the past three collections. None of these styles was ever made before in these particular prints. They launched at The Crow’s Nest on July 14, 2022.
Stay tuned because after the summer we will have some new Lingua Franca embroidered cashmeres coming to Positano. Then we will have gone full circle.
Very exciting!
