Ball Bearing Soup Plate

Conceived for the tables of Le Sirenuse Mare, the Ànemos collection is named from the Greek ἄνεμος—wind—a subtle nod to the sea breezes that move constantly through Nerano. Six designs in Mediterranean blue draw on the geometry of ancient Greek ceramics, where proportion, ornament, and storytelling meet within the discipline of a circle.

The Ball Soup Plate carries this language through radiating circular forms and fine lines, creating a pattern built on repetition and outward movement. Its gently curved form lends itself equally to soups and pasta. Each piece is hand-painted in Vietri sul Mare by the artisans of Vietri Scotto, following the tradition of local maiolica.
