PRE-SPRING 2025

EDEN: PARADISE FOUND

The Pre-Spring 2025 collection, named Eden, celebrates a paradise found in the beauty of faraway worlds and the refuge of familiar places.

The idea of locus amoenus unfolds through floral patterns, light fabrics, and relaxed, fluid silhouettes. These dresses, designed as a bridge between winter and spring, inhabit a timeless, dreamlike dimension. The materials, too, reflect the collection's dual but convergent origins: luxurious Italian fabrics and intricate embroideries crafted in India.

Looking forward to spring invites a sense of rebirth, carefree delight, and a reawakening of curiosity. Orientalism subtly weaves its way into the patterns and embroideries, enhancing the feminine elegance of each silhouette, in the distinctive Sirenuse style. And, as ever, a botanical theme heralds spring’s arrival, for, as one poet said, "The flowers of spring are the dreams of winter."

ART DECO

Jewel appliqués, an unexpected addition to the Pre-Spring 2025 collection, emerge from Art Deco influences and extensive archive research. For Emporio Sirenuse, ornamentation is an opportunity to unleash creativity. While the garments’ lines remain simple to accentuate the silhouette and ensure functionality, the borders, embroidery, and appliqués embody the brand’s playful elegance, subtly echoing the exuberant, decadent splendor of a bygone era.

PERSIAN BOTANIC

Persian Botanic is the chosen name for this pattern, which merges diverse botanical elements into a striking graphic design. Developed in two colors, this motif embodies a spring viewed through an oriental lens. At the center is a flower with buds and volutes, depicted frontally as if from an ancient Persian herbarium, while Indian paisley motifs frame it above and below. Fresh and intricate, this pattern bestows the garments with an effortless elegance.

LOTUS AND LIBELLULA

The Lotus and Dragonfly patterns result from a collaboration between Emporio Sirenuse and Indian artisans, who imbue these designs with exceptional savoir-faire. Inspired by medieval miniatures and updated with modern nuances, these motifs, transferred onto silk, reveal the delicate artistry of handcrafting. Pastel tones and soft silhouettes dissolve into intricate patterns that seem to blossom across the garments. Pink hues and white backgrounds amplify the airy quality of fabrics designed to greet the onset of spring.

GEOMETRIC EMBROIDERY

The geometric embroideries take inspiration from the intricate inlays and mosaics of Arabic architecture. Aligned with the minimalist lines of the dresses, these patterns underscore classical elegance and timeless beauty. Abstract shapes interweave in textured layers, tracing hypnotic diagonals that enhance flared silhouettes. The color palette – white, gold, and blue – pays homage to the dignified opulence of Middle Eastern architecture, highlighting the meticulous design with which each dress is crafted.

IKAT STRIPES

Ikat stripes are now a fixture of Emporio Sirenuse’s visual identity, embracing the technique’s essence since the very beginning. One of the world’s oldest textile techniques, Ikat involves dyeing threads in different colors before weaving – a slow and complex process that yields results of apparent simplicity. Traditionally associated with summer and beachwear, these refined stripes elevate a classic to new levels of sophistication.

JAPANESE LINEN

Japanese linen, a soft yet durable fabric, returns in this collection, adorned with the iconic Palm embroidery. The shimmering lines of the embroidery spread harmoniously over the silhouette, tracing a network of stylized leaves. This ton sur ton detail lends the garments a refined, artisanal elegance, subtly enhancing the fabric and structuring its shape.

Creative Director Viola Parrocchetti:

"Not exactly someone real, she is more a woman of my dreams. She knows the Italian Riviera well, but her itineraries reach more remote, adventurous places. I see her as a modern woman, but the parties she attends belong to bygone eras, grand and eccentric, like the balls of the maharajahs. Yet she possesses the practical sense to dress comfortably, with a hint of spontaneity."
