Spring Summer 2019

Two kindred spirits who channeled the mysterious, life-affirming energy of the Amalfi Coast and Capri inspire the new Spring Summer Collection of Le Sirenuse Positano. The first is Franco Sersale, my late, beloved father-in-law, whose personality shines in our recently opened Franco’s Bar. The other is Karl Diefenbach, a German philosopher's whose most famous work of art, a 68-metre-long frieze entitled Per Aspera ad Astra – “through hardship to the stars” embodies the summer spirit as a religion of freedom. It all goes back to the time when he lived on the island of Capri, in the 1930s, where he had established a very controversial and scandalous commune…
